It definitely feels like summer is on the way . . . and it just wouldn’t be an English summer without the Championships now would it?
And as Wimbledon is just over a week away, I thought I should get out on the court today for an intense practise session.
I’m normally a slow starter . . . so have to think a lot about my positioning on court.
But I soon felt happier . . . and more confident . . . after returning a few serves from my coach.
He did start criticising my grip though . . . something he usually doesn’t complain about!
And he is certainly usually always happy with my ball handling skills . . .
. . . so much so that he became confused and suddenly started talking about “my breast stroke”.
I reminded him that breast strokes are an altogether different sport . . . and that perhaps we’d have to think about that for a future location at Curvaceous Dee’s Scavenger Hunt site.
