These impressive Cactus plants . . . at the entrance to one of our favourite Tavernas on our holiday island . . . have always caught my eye!
They run from just inside the gateway from the main road, right up to the outside dining area overlooking the beach below . . . and they really are
quite “prickly”.
And I’m sure there will be more prickly-heat at this weeks Sinful Sunday.
Just, carefully, touch the lips below!
“Apparently cacti are classed as a succulent with a thick fleshy stem”
Hubby read cheerfully from his phone.
“Mmm, just my sort of succulent” I giggled “but you can jolly well put that phone down, and top-up the rest of my glass . . . it helps me . . . swallow!!!”
I’m not sure if “Cacti” is a Scavenger Hunt category . . . but we had lots of fun reminiscing about “succulents”.
