Whilst on our summer holiday last year, Hubby and I had considered putting in an offer to buy our dream Holiday Home Abroad! But once we returned home to London, the reality of the practicalities involved overcame us . . .
But on our return visit this summer, we just had to drive down that same road
to see if the property was still available . . .
Only to find that the “For Sale” sign had now changed to “For Rent”. Which started us wondering if perhaps we should call to make further enquiries . . . especially as the contact details began with my favourite number!!!
But once again on returning home, normal everyday life has just got in the way. Maybe someday . . . !!!

I think that owning a home abroad is a someday for lots of us, certainly I share that feeling every time I visit Italy and become absorbed in the culture and the way of life there. I can also understand the feeling of being back to normal and how that can temper our dreams – great post 🙂
